Guanyu Zhou is a Chinese driver currently active in Formula 1 with Alfa Romeo. Zhou began his career in 2007 in China before moving to London in 2012 to compete in the European championships. It was a successful move as he became the champion in both the British and European Rotax Max Junior karting competitions in 2013. A year later, he joined the Ferrari Driver Academy, enabling him to progress quickly into formula racing. In 2016, he made his debut in Formula 3 with Motopark. After several years in Formula 2, he made the leap to Formula 1 in 2022.
